The members of the Board shall be entitled to per diems of fifty dollars ($50) per day or fraction thereof that they attend meetings of the Board. They shall be entitled to the payment expenses for miles travelled as provided by the regulations of the Department of the Treasury of the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico.Payment for trips outside of Puerto Rico shall be considered on the basis of the merits and need thereof and on the availability of funds.
