(a) Every female or male nurse who holds evidence of studies and practice to work in a specialized area pursued at an institution of higher learning accredited or recognized by the Council on Higher Education of Puerto Rico shall be recognized by the Board according to the criteria and requirements established in its regulations.(b) The Board shall determine the sum to be paid as a certification fee. The money thus collected shall be covered into the Health Fund for the exclusive use to the Board of Female and Male Nurse Examiners.
