(a) The Board shall offer theoretical examinations for each classification and category of treatment plants and/or systems for drinking water and used water at least twice (2x) a year to assess the capability, knowledge and skills of all applicants for a license as a certified operator. Such examinations shall be proctored as provided by the regulations of the Board. Their content shall be according to the level required by each category or classification and shall comprehend, without this being construed as a limitation, any of the following subjects or a combination thereof:\n(1) Biology.\n(2) Chemistry.\n(3) Physics.\n(4) Math.\n(5) Public Health (General).\n(6) Environmental regulations.\n(7) Treatment processes.\n(b) The Board shall offer practical examinations for the issuance of a license as operator-in-training of treatment plants and/or systems for drinking water and used water, as the case may be, with the purpose of assessing the capability of any applicant for conducting the daily operation of a treatment facility, upkeep and draft reports, apply chemical products, and conduct physical, chemical and biological assays.\nHistory —July 13, 1978, No. 53, p. 528, § 10; Jan.
