Podiatric doctors of the Armed Forces of the United States and the Public Health Service, shall be exempted from the examinations established in § 2858 of this title, and may practice podiatric medicine in Puerto Rico while in the active exercise of their official functions, for which the Board shall issue a special license. Provided, That they must comply with the provisions of subsections (b) and (c) of § 2860 of this title, and pay the corresponding fees stated in subsection (g) of Section 9 of this act.
