The Puerto Rico Police shall establish a civilian police with limited jurisdiction, to be known as the Puerto Rico Capitol Police, hereinafter the Corps, attached to the Puerto Rico Police, whose main duty shall be to watch, monitor, ensure, and promote safety and public order in the Capitol District of Puerto Rico, and with the duties, obligations, authorities, and prerogatives conferred under this chapter.\nHistory —Mar. 30, 2011, No. 42, § 2.
