The Medal of the Legislature established herein shall be awarded by the Legislature of Puerto Rico to those citizens or government employees who have been outstanding in implementing government operations, or have made a meritorious contribution in the interest of:(a) The People of Puerto Rico;(b) world peace, or(c) culture or other significant efforts in the public or private service.
