An annual award in the Legislature is hereby established, which shall be denominated the 'Luis Muñoz-Marín Medal' to recognize the service and achievements of civic or nonprofit institutions or private citizens directed to implementing social justice programs and activities. This award shall consist of a gold medal suspended from a band with the colors representing both legislative bodies, of the adequate material, and shall contain an inscription and the proper quote to be selected by the Legislature.
