The Committee shall perform a total review and a reform of the Puerto Rico Civil Code, 1930 edition, as amended, in order to update it, and also giving special attention to reconcile all its parts, to bring about a modern, concordant and harmonious document. As part of this complete review, the Committee shall draft a Civil Code Bill for the consideration of the Legislature if it deems it to be necessary and convenient, as well as the corresponding legislative measures.
