The Committee shall be directed by an Executive Director appointed in common accord by the Co-Chairpersons. Likewise, the salary or remuneration of the Director shall be fixed according to the norms established with the agreement of the Committee Co-Chairpersons. The Executive Director shall exercise the administrative duties of the office under the supervision and direction of the Co-Chairpersons, and receive administrative support services from them and from the members of the Committee, as well as the services of the Office of Legislative Services, the Legislative Library and other branches of the Legislature.The Executive Director shall determine the internal affairs of the Committee and take the necessary measures for its proper performance and operation, as well as to conduct the administrative and managerial functions needed to implement it and any other local laws and regulations.
