The Committee is hereby empowered to hold public hearings in any place in the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, receive oral or written testimony from interested persons and summon those persons who in its judgment should depose on the matter being studied by this Committee, according to the applicable provisions of law, and the regulations in effect.
