§ 13-8-17

(a) For the duration of the prisoner’s parole, the assistant director of field services or his or her designee shall report on the adjustment of the parolee to the parole board at the end of each six (6) months of parole. (b) If at any time there is evidence of a violation of any of the conditions of the parole, the assistant director of field services or his or her designee shall report the violation immediately and fully to the board, together with a recommendation concerning the action to be taken by the board with respect to the parole. (c) In those instances of violation, the assistant director of field services or his or her designee may in his or her discretion return the parolee to the institution from which he or she was paroled, pending action by the board.
