(a) No licensee or other person shall advertise, print, display, publish, distribute, telecast, or broadcast, or cause or permit to be advertised, printed, displayed, published, distributed, telecast, or broadcast, in any manner whatsoever any false, misleading, or deceptive statement or representation with regard to the rates, terms, or conditions for licensed activities. The director, or the director’s designee, may order any licensee or other person to desist from any conduct that he or she shall find to be a violation of the foregoing provisions. (b) The director, or the director’s designee, may require that rates of interest or charges, if stated by a licensee, be stated fully and clearly in any manner the director, or the director’s designee, may deem necessary to prevent misunderstanding of the rates or charges by prospective customers.
