Every veterinary drug dispensed pursuant to a prescription shall bear a label containing the name and address of the dispenser, prescription number, date of filling, name of the veterinarian, species of patient, name and strength of drug, amount dispensed, directions for use, withdrawal time, and cautionary statements, if any, appropriate for the prescription.
