(a) Except as provided in § 23-59-13, no provider shall engage in the business of providing or offering to provide continuing care at a facility in this state unless the provider has registered with the department with respect to the facility. (b) A registration statement shall be filed with the department by the provider on forms prescribed by the department and shall include: (1) All information required by the department pursuant to its enforcement of this chapter; and (2) The initial disclosure statement required by § 23-59-3. (c) Registration shall be deemed complete if the department has not notified the provider of incompleteness within ninety (90) days of the filing. History of Section.P.L. 1987, ch. 101, § 1.
