A fee will be charged to each applicant submitting an application to the board, and shall be of an amount determined by the board to cover the cost of the examination, but not more than fifty dollars ($50.00), and shall be submitted with the application form. This fee shall be refundable if the applicant is deemed by the board not qualified to take the examination but shall otherwise be nonrefundable. A renewal fee shall be charged to each certificate holder at the time of renewal.
