§ 28-36-4

Every policy subsequently written insuring the payment of compensation under chapters 29 — 38 of this title shall contain provisions to the effect that as between the employee and the insurer notice to and knowledge of the occurrence of injury on the part of the employer shall be deemed notice and knowledge on the part of the insurer that: (1) Jurisdiction of the employer for the purposes of those chapters shall be jurisdiction of the insurer; and (2) The insurer shall in all things be bound by and subject to the determinations, findings, judgments, orders, and decrees rendered against the employer for the payment of compensation under those chapters.
