§ 28-9-6-3

As used in this chapter, the following terms, unless the context requires a different interpretation, have the following meanings: (1) '911 employees' means the full-time supervisors, assistant supervisors, and telecommunicators of the 911 statewide uniform emergency telephone system pursuant to chapter 21.1 of title 39. (2) 'State authorities' means the proper officials of the state whose duty or duties it is to establish the wages, salaries, rates of pay, hours, working conditions, and other terms and conditions of employment of 911 employees.
