Acciardo. The administrator of the division of the motor vehicles is authorized and directed to issue a special registration plate for the private passenger motor vehicle of former police chief Vincent A. Acciardo of the town of Johnston. The plate shall bear the identification 'Police Chief Emeritus' with an appropriate number and seal of the state imprinted on the plate and the plate shall be furnished without additional registration charge for any period of time that former Chief Acciardo desires.
