§ 31-5-18

Every licensee shall maintain a record in form as prescribed by the department of: (1) Every vehicle of a type subject to registration which is bought, sold, or exchanged by the licensee or received or accepted by the licensee for sale or exchange. (2) Every new or used exterior part or accessory which is bought or otherwise acquired and every motor vehicle, chassis, or motor vehicle engine which is sold or otherwise disposed of.
