§ 33-15-1-5

A probate court may appoint a guardian of a minor under the age of fourteen (14) years. A minor of the age of fourteen (14) years or over may nominate his or her own guardian, who, if approved by the probate court, shall be appointed accordingly. History of Section.P.L. 1992, ch. 493, § 5.
