§ 35-10-7

(a) Members of the commission shall serve without compensation but shall be reimbursed for any necessary expenses. (b) No member or employee of the commission shall profit directly or indirectly from any investment transaction made by the commission. This provision is not intended to limit in any way the right of any member or employee of the commission to own shares of stock or bonds of any corporation or other entity in which money of the several funds are or may be invested.
