(a) There is hereby created within the department of public safety a public safety grant administration office which shall be under the jurisdiction of the governor. (b) The public safety grant administration office shall consist of: (1) a criminal justice policy board, and (2) such permanent and ad hoc committees and task forces as the board deems necessary.
