§ 44-31-2-10

(a) The state of Rhode Island reserves the right to refuse the use of Rhode Island’s name in credits of any motion picture filmed or produced in the state. (b) If any clause, sentence, paragraph, or part of this chapter is for any reason judged invalid by any court of competent jurisdiction, the judgment does not affect, impair, or invalidate the remainder of this chapter but is confined in its operation to the clause, sentence, paragraph, or part of this chapter directly involved in the controversy in which the judgment has been rendered.
