§ 45-13-1-5

(a) The commission shall hold meetings at least quarterly and at other times that it deems necessary. The commission may hold public hearings from time to time on matters within its purview. (b) Each officer, board, commission, council, department, or agency of state government, and each political subdivision of the state, shall make available all facts, records, information, and data requested by the commission, and in all ways cooperate with the commission in carrying out the functions and duties imposed by this chapter. (c) The commission may establish committees as it deems advisable and feasible, whose membership shall include at least one member of the commission, but only the commission as a whole may take official commission action. (d) All meetings of the commission, or any committee of the commission, at which public business is discussed or formal action is taken shall conform to chapter 46 of title 42.
