Any person who shall violate any provision of this chapter, or any rule, regulation, or order issued by the commission pursuant thereto, shall be subject to a civil penalty, to be assessed by the commission, of not less than five hundred dollars ($500) nor more than one thousand dollars ($1,000). In the case of a continuing violation, each day’s continuance thereof shall be deemed to be a separate and distinct offense. History of Section.P.L. 1981, ch. 388, § 2.
