§ 5-34-6

The board of nurse registration and nursing education shall elect annually from its membership a president and vice-president. A secretary shall also be elected. The state director of nurse registration and nursing education shall not be a member of the board. Meetings may be called by the president, vice-president, director of nurse registration and nursing education, director of the department of health, or upon written request of five (5) members of the board.
