§ 5-35-1-13

The director shall appoint a board of optometry. The board shall consist of five (5) members, all of whom shall be residents of the state, four (4) of whom shall be licensed optometrists engaged in the practice of optometry for at least five (5) years prior to their appointment, and there shall be one public member.
