The board shall organize immediately after the appointment and qualification of its members. The board shall elect annually a chairperson and secretary. The board shall meet at least semiannually. Meetings may also be called at any time by the chairperson, or the director of the department of health, or the administrator of the division of professional regulation, or by written request of two (2) members of the board.
