§ 7-1-2-1603

Any individual who signs any articles, statement, report, application, or other document intended to be filed with the secretary of state that is known to the individual to be false in any material respect, is guilty of a misdemeanor, and upon conviction of it may be fined in any amount not exceeding five hundred dollars ($500).
