In addition to the powers granted to it by § 7-1.2-302, an association has power to: (1) Own and hold membership in other associations formed under any laws of this state, or of any other state, country, nation, or government, and while the holder thereof, to exercise all the rights of membership; (2) Make agreements of mutual aid or federation with other associations, other groups organized on a cooperative basis, and other nonprofit groups.
