§ 2-7-35

Wherever the term 'handicapped person' appears in the laws of this State, unless it is stated to the contrary, it shall mean a person who: (1) Has a physical or mental impairment which substantially limits one or more major life activities including, but not limited to caring for himself, performing manual tasks, walking, seeing, hearing, speaking, breathing, learning and working; (2) Meets any other definition prescribed by federal law or regulation for use by agencies of state government which serve handicapped persons.
