(A) Each unit shall be entitled to such maintenance fund allowance as may be provided in the annual appropriations act as apportioned periodically. Unit maintenance funds from sources outside the annual appropriation must be regulated and audited by the Adjutant General. (B) Facilities owned, leased, or under the control of the military department may be rented periodically. The rental income, military fines, and other revenue sources must be deposited in state accounts for operations and maintenance of the military department. The Adjutant General shall promulgate regulations for a rental program and audit these funds.
