The board may accept lands, buildings, money, relics, weapons, or any other thing of value on behalf of, or as additions to the museum either in the form of loans or grants or donations or bequests; may acquire land and items by purchase, lease, or otherwise, and may enter into contracts with any person to accomplish such purposes.
