§ 26-2-120

(A) Any person or entity wishing to provide an electronic notarization system to electronic notaries public in this State must complete and submit a registration form to the Secretary of State for review. (B) An electronic notarization system shall comply with all regulations promulgated by the Secretary of State. (C) An electronic notary solution provider must be registered with the Secretary of State pursuant to this chapter before making available to South Carolina electronic notaries public any updates or subsequent versions of the electronic notary solution provider's electronic notarization system.
