(A) This chapter must be construed liberally and applied to promote its underlying purposes and policies. (B) The underlying purposes and policies of this chapter are to: (1) provide for the rights and obligations of manufactured home owners and manufactured home park owners and clarify the law governing the renting or leasing of residential lots in a manufactured home park in which five or more lots are offered for rent or lease; (2) encourage manufactured home park owners and manufactured home owners to maintain and improve the quality of housing.
