(A) Contemporaneously with the submission of an application for a certificate of title on a mobile or manufactured home as required by Section 56-19-240, the person submitting the application shall provide to the auditor of the county in which a mobile or manufactured home is to be located, a copy of the completed application submitted to the Department of Motor Vehicles. (B) It is unlawful for a person applying for a title for a mobile or manufactured home to fail to provide a copy of the application to the appropriate county auditor. A person who violates the provisions of this section is guilty of a misdemeanor and, upon conviction, must be punished by a fine of not less than one hundred dollars nor more than five hundred dollars, or imprisonment for not more than thirty days.
