(1) To the extent that his responsibility under this chapter requires, the Director of the Department of Insurance shall issue rules with respect to insurers, and with respect to refunds (Section 37-4-108), forms, schedules of premium rates and charges (Section 37-4-203), and his approval or disapproval thereof and, in case of violation, may make an order for compliance. (2) Each provision of the part on administrative procedures and judicial review (Part 4) of the chapter on administration (Chapter 6) which applies to and governs administrative action taken by the administrator also applies to and governs all administrative action taken by the Director of the Department of Insurance pursuant to this section.
