(A) This article applies only to property insurance on risks located in this State. (B) This article does not apply to automobile insurance nor to insurance against liability arising out of the ownership, maintenance, or use of motor vehicles. The director or his designee may exempt from this article various specialty lines of insurance. HISTORY: 2004 Act No. 290, Section 2.A, eff six months after approval by the Governor (approved July 29, 2004).
