§ 39-22-10

The department may license a qualified warehouse facility for the storage of cotton and grain or other nonperishable agricultural products as defined by regulation. A license must be granted only to those applicants who have met the minimum requirements of this chapter and whose warehouse facility is suitable for the storage of agricultural commodities for which it is intended. A license may be revoked or suspended at any time the warehouseman does not meet the minimum standards as required by this chapter. HISTORY: 1990 Act No. 436, Section 1, eff April 24, 1990.
