The weights, classes, and grades of cotton, if shown on a warehouse receipt issued for the cotton, or other nonperishable farm products on storage are guaranteed by the State under this chapter only in favor of those who loan money on or buy cotton stored in warehouses. The State is not responsible for fluctuations in weight resulting from ordinary climatic conditions. HISTORY: 1990 Act No. 436, Section 1, eff April 24, 1990.
