§ 39-9-140

(A) Except as otherwise provided by the Commissioner of Agriculture or by firmly established trade custom and practice, commodities: (1) in liquid form must be sold by liquid measure or by weight; (2) not in liquid form must be sold only by weight, measure, or count. (B) The method of sale must provide accurate and adequate quantity information that permits the buyer to make price and quantity comparisons.
