§ 40-68-180

This chapter does not exempt a client of a licensee or an assigned employee from any other license requirements imposed under local, state, or federal law. An employee who is licensed, registered, or certified under law and who is assigned to a client company is an employee of the client company for the purpose of that license, registration, or certification, but otherwise remains the employee of the licensee as provided in this chapter. Nothing in this chapter affects the South Carolina Employment Security Law (Sections 41-27-10 through 41-41-50). HISTORY: 1993 Act No. 169, Section 1; 2005 Act No. 112, Section 1.
