To be licensed as a professional counselor supervisor, marriage and family therapist supervisor, or addiction counselor, an individual must: (1) be licensed in South Carolina in the discipline for which the supervisor license is sought; (2) have been in the practice of counseling, marriage and family therapy, or addiction counseling for at least five years; and (3) have met the additional requirements prescribed by the board in regulation.
