Unless otherwise provided for in this chapter, Article 1, Chapter 1 of Title 40 applies to the State Athletic Commission administered by the Department of Labor, Licensing and Regulation. If there is a conflict between this chapter and Article 1, Chapter 1 of Title 40, the provisions of this chapter control. The Professional Boxing Safety Act of 1996 (15 U.S.C. Section 6301 et seq.) and all other federal laws pertaining to boxing are incorporated by reference and made a part of this chapter. HISTORY: 2003 Act No. 28, Section 1.
