(A) The director of the department shall appoint an administrator, who shall assign referees, judges, and other officials necessary to administer this chapter. The department shall employ and supervise personnel necessary to effectuate the provisions of this chapter. (B) The department shall provide all administrative, fiscal, investigative, inspectional, clerical, secretarial, and license renewal operations and activities of the commission and shall administer the commission as a revenue funded commission in accordance with Section 40-1-50. (C) An applicant or licensee aggrieved by a decision of the administrator may request in writing a review of that decision by the commission. HISTORY: 2003 Act No. 28, Section 1.
