The chair of the council must be elected by a majority of the council membership for one two-year term. Other officers may be elected as needed in the same manner as the chair. A majority of the membership of the council constitutes a quorum for official business to be conducted. HISTORY: 1993 Act No. 110, Section 1, eff three months after June 11, 1993.
