The certificate of incorporation of any district incorporated under the provisions of this article, as well as that of any public hospital or corporation reincorporated under the provisions of this article, may be amended only upon the board of the district adopting a resolution proposing an amendment which amendment is subject to approval of the governing body of each authorizing subdivision or may be amended upon the initiative of the governing body of each authorizing subdivision. All these duly approved amendments must be filed with the Secretary of State in the same manner as with the original certificate of incorporation. HISTORY: 1984 Act No. 512, Part II, Section 35D.
