An application for registration or renewal of registration must be accompanied by a fee of: (1) one thousand five hundred dollars for an initial application for registration; (2) two thousand five hundred dollars for registration based on a certificate of registration issued by another state; (3) seven hundred dollars for an application for renewal of registration; or (4) one thousand dollars for renewal of registration based on a renewal of registration in another state.
