(A) A person who, with intent to defraud, falsely makes, alters, forges, utters, passes, or counterfeits a state lottery game ticket is guilty of a felony and, upon conviction, must be fined not more than fifty thousand dollars or imprisoned not more than five years, or both. (B) A person who influences or attempts to influence the winning of a prize through the use of coercion, fraud, deception, or tampering with lottery equipment or materials is guilty of a felony and, upon conviction, must be fined not more than fifty thousand dollars or imprisoned not more than five years, or both. (C) A person who is convicted of a violation of subsection (A) or (B) must not be the recipient of an award of a lottery prize or a portion of a lottery prize, and is ineligible for employment by the commission.
