(A) A person must not knowingly or intentionally make a material false statement in an application for a license or proposal to conduct lottery activities or a material false entry in a book or record which is compiled or maintained or submitted to the board or its designee pursuant to the provisions of this chapter. A person who violates the provisions of this section is guilty of a felony and, upon conviction, must be fined not more than twenty-five thousand dollars or the dollar amount of the false entry or statement, whichever is greater, or imprisoned for not more than five years, or both. (B) A person who is convicted of a violation of subsection (A) also must surrender his license immediately and is ineligible to be issued a license by the commission.
